The Museum of Art

Today, Julia and I visited "El Museo de Arte de Costarricense" and saw several beautiful and interesting pieces. The museum is housed in the old airport, a gorgeous building that is a piece of art work in itself.

The museum has a small sculpture garden outside with several large pieces. My favorite was the three women walking.

As I said, the building is gorgeous and includes a room where a two-dimensional mural surrounds the room, depicting the history of Costa Rica.

The museum wasn't very big...we walked through it all in a little over an hours. But, almost everything we saw, Julia and I liked or were interested in. Speaking of Julia...she says "Hi!"
